The team at Merendi Health & Wellness welcome Paul Knotts - Physiotherapist and Injury Prevention Specialist.

Paul is an experienced clinical Physiotherapist, Safety Officer and trainer of Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinators. His experience across industry and personal care is vast particularly in the areas of ergonomics (corporate and industrial), manual handling training, and injury risk assessing/problem solving. Like all of us here, he has a proactive attitude towards health, and believes strongly in the team approach and that the client play an active role in their care, and will be able to assist our clients in a wide variety of ways.

He first became interested in Injury Prevention (IP) and Ergonomics years before he completed his Physiotherapy degree. Paul eventally became frustrated having treated over 50k patients (the 2000 Sydney Olympics being a highlight), and enjoy ed injury prevention considerably more. Adding Safety Officer and Workers Compensation Rehabilitation Trainer qualifications to his belt, this has allowed him to look more widely at Injury Prevention.

Paul provide services mainly in Corporate and Industrial Ergonomics, Manual Handling Training & Physical Risk Assessing. He has worked widely across industry in underground mining, transport, warehousing, concrete, all trades, road, infrastructure and Dam building, schools, construction and the private and government corporate sectors to name a few. Paul loves working with the client to problem solve their injury risks, and providing cost effective solutions to save money, improve morale and a positive safety culture.

• Private consultations,
• Workers Compensation (including Work Site Visits, Vocational Assessments, Job Task Anaylsis).

Paul is also available to consult to companies & individuals in the following areas;

• early intervention,
• injury rehabilitation,
• occupational rehabiliation,
• corporate health.
