Quest Business Achievers Award Update

On last Saturday night (11th July 2009) the team at Merendi attended their 2nd "Pine Rivers Press Quest Business Awards" dinner. For the 2nd year in a row they were a finalist in the category of "Fitness & Sport", despite it not really being the best category to describe their business.

Never the less they were up against some great competition such as large local fitness centres - "Genesis" & "In Balance".

Unfortunately they did not win their category, however they did receive a suprise award.

At the last minute the "Qld State Department of Employment & Economic Development" donated a $500 prize cheque. The prize was to recognise a small business who showed "Business Innovation". From all the business finalists on the night, and there was a lot, the Team at Merendi were the lucky recipients of this special award.

It came as a complete shock to the team, who were busily chatting when suddenly they heard their name being called. Here is what was written in our local Quest Newspaper - The Pine Rivers Press.

Special Award

Merendi Health & Wellness received the $500 Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation prize. Merendi Leverett-Bowler received the award and paid tribute to her father, who died two months ago.

The team at Merendi would like to take this opportunity to thank their valued clients for their continued support over the past 3 years and they do appreciate the support.
