Early detection for Ovarian cancer - 14/06/2010Every year over 800 Australian women lose their life to ovarian cancer. It is the most serious and life threatening of all gynaecological cancers. 75 per cent of the 1400 cases diagnosed in Australia each year are already at an advanced stage. It is the sixth most common cause of cancer death in women and is more common than cervical cancer.
