Merendi Health & Wellness is an award-winning health care service provider that delivers professional allied-health services across four locations on the Brisbane North Side. We are expanding and are currently seeking a Full Time Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team, practicing out of our Brendale/Strathpine centre. You will be working with range of markets, including Private, Medicare, DVA, Corporate Wellness and Workers Compensation. Join our team of allied health professionals and work alongside Psychologists, Massage Therapists and Dietitians.

 

The Job: As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist your role may include group and 1-on-1 consultations with a diversity of client populations. Depending on your skills and experience, you will have the opportunity to work in injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, group fitness classes, preventative services, deliver education seminars, health assessments, case management, functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments. 

 

We offer: Friendly & supportive team environment, supervision, fully-equipped premises, and a professional development allowance of $1,500 per annum. Our principle Exercise Physiologist has over 10 years industry experience to share.

Essential criteria: Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA, current first aid & CPR, computer literacy, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

 

Desirable criteria: Pilates certification, other fitness class certifications.

 

Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
